United Way of Mahaska County is hosting a Youth Day of Caring event and are in need of a few projects within the Oskaloosa city limits for 9th - 12th-grade high school students to complete on May 12, between the hours of 8a - 5p. 

Please fill the following form out and the Community Impact Coordinator will be in contact with you regarding your project!

Please note: United Way will not approve any type of roofing project or similar due to liability issues.

Please tell us who will be onsite for this project
The project MUST be located in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Please be as specific as possible. These descriptions are used to help United Way match your project with a volunteer team. Include the type of work (heavy lifting, moving, etc.), what type of skills are needed (painting, climbing, etc.), and where the work will be done - outdoors, indoors, with clients, with other volunteers, off-site, etc.
Please reply with a yes or a no if there are these issues.
Please indicate if you will have a plan besides canceling due to weather.
If yes please indicate the type of debris. If no simply put "no" in this line.
Please select the approximate time you think it will take to complete your project. If you select half day please also select a morning or afternoon time slot.
Please put here a maximum number of volunteers you need for your project. (a minimum of 3 volunteers and a max of 15)
United Way can help support in finding extra shears if we send more to your location than you have supplies. We encourage all project sites to at least have minimal supplies for volunteers.
If you need additional support we can seek sponsorship for your project.
(i.e. Volunteers exposed to poison ivy, allergy issues, or pregnant that could be affected by the project)
We will be supplying the volunteers with lunch. Would you like to come and engage with the students further?
