Winter Coat Drive

Each year United Way of Mahaska County partners with community organizations, businesses, and individuals to collect and distribute new and slightly used coats, boots, gloves, hat, and other winter clothing items.  Starting October 1st community members start donating coats and other items to be distributed to those in need. 

Some of the organizations and businesses who have contributed this year include JC Penney Employees, Bank Iowa, Patriot Insurance & Realty, Musco, Wal-Mart, the Oskaloosa Middle School, Chapter IO of PEO, many 4-H and church groups.
