Sweet Corn Serenade

Sweet Corn Serenade 2008 was held on July 31st and it was a wonderful location for the United Way of Mahaska County's Interactive Booth.  This was the first year for the United Way to participate in thr event and it was a HUGE success.

United Way had lots of free items and information for the community. Volunteers gave youngsters United Way tattoos, balloons, suckers, back to school pencils and erasers. They also completed over 100 FREE Child Photo ID Kits.  This was a very popular place to be at the Sweet Corn Serenade.
