Student Supply Cupboard

Working with local school teachers and counselors, United Way of Mahaska County offers school supplies to needy students in the Oskaloosa, New Sharon and Fremont Schools. These students have been identified by teachers and staff at these schools in Mahaska County. 

In 2008 United Way worked with the Salvation Army and SIEDA in the Back to School Backpack Program. United Way is already collecting and preparing for the 2009-2010 Back to School Backpack Program hoping to work more closely with the school systems.
