Food Bank of

Southern Iowa

The Food Bank of Southern Iowa, Inc. collects and donates good wholesome food products and hygiene items, warehouses and delivers them to the agencies that serve the needy families, senior citizens, and children's program in the community.

4-H Foundation

New Hope Community Center

South Central Iowa Center for Independent Living

YMCA

The YMCA is a multi-faceted organization to individuals from birth to elderly citizens. They provide health and fitness for all, daycare for the very young, sports programming for all ages, year round swimming, bonding opportunities for families and specially designed exercise programs for the elderly.


These are the 2010 United Way of Mahaska County Partner Agencies. Each of these organizations is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit human service entity. They have submitted their application and financial information to United Way, participated in the Community Investment Interviews, and were accepted to be a 2010 United Way Partner Agency.
