Upon completion of the 2008 Community Needs Assessment, the United Way Board of Directors partnered with Marie Ware of Future Endeavors to lead us through a strategic planning process. This was a serious endeavor for the United Way of Mahaska County Board of Directors.They chose to take part in the direction and focus of United Way to plan a better future for Mahaska County.

During this strategic planning process, each board member and the staff were asked to envision how

we could become the best United Way we can be
