United Way of Mahaska County seeks candidates for the position of Executive Director.  Successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Mahaska County, professional or volunteer leadership experience, management ability, and strong communication skills.  Responsibilities include organizing and managing annual fundraising campaign, volunteer coordination and leadership, public relations, marketing, and carrying out board policies and procedures.  Must be self-starter and highly motivated.  Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with websites a plus.  Basic accounting skills are necessary.  This is a 40 hour per week flextime position beginning immediately.
